Dynamic Form rules to embedded reports

Is it possible to have dynamic form rules affect an embedded report? Meaning, I have a form with an embedded report in grid edit. I would like to only show certain fields of that embedded report...

    No problem. Just put the report link field on the form twice and specify a different report for each of the two appearances of the embedded report. Set one to show in  view mode and the other to show in edit mode.

    Oh my goodness ... I feel so silly. That is so simple and quite obvious ... lol

    Sometimes I think I overcomplicate the thought process of determining a solution.
