Dynamically populating field values in Rich Text Field

Hi, I am trying to give the option of creating templates to the non admin users and I am trying to pull a field value in to the rich text field by entering the [field name] in the rich text field like how we do in the dynamic form rules. I even tried to add it in the HTML source that is shown in the right hand side top corner of the rich text field but it doesn't display the field value but rather just the text field name that I did input. Is this possible to achieve?
