Entering Edit Page Straight after clicking on a record

Hi all,

I'm currently exploring whether it is possible to enter into the "edit" page without having to go the "view" page, then clicking on the "edit" button to edit information on a record. This would definitely save a lot of time, especially when the internet is slow.
