Expose the [User ID] in a table "603076527.8gsf"

How do I display the User ID in a field in a table? I want to make the wonky Quickbase User ID that looks something like "603076527.8gsf" as a field. Other than using the deprecated IOL technique has anyone found a solution?

If not I will make a UserVoice.
