External Email Notification to Integrate into Quickbase

We receive email notifications on updated dates from one of our vendors.  I was wondering if there was any way we can integrate these emails that have specific dates on them to integrate into quickbase to automatically update applicable fields that we specify.

This might be right out of left field but i tired searching this in the community but couldn't find anything with my search criteria.

  • There are some good products out there as add ons to Quick Base.

Juiced has a products for this. https://www.juicedtech.com/email-parser called email parser.  I personally use Juiced all the time for various add ons, but I have not personally used one.   However, I did recently just get a sweet app working using a similar add on from Juiced which allows interfacing between Texting from smartphones and Quick Base.

In my app Installers text in to a text phone # to say which orders they are coming in to to pick up,  and the Juiced interface writes out a QuickBase records with the text message.

I then parse out the order number(s) from the text in a formula and create separate records for each order using an Automation.  Then there is a formula on the order which calculates an appropriate response back to the installer and writes out a record to a table.   The Juiced system then sees that record being "added", and texts the calculated response back to the Installer.  The system typically responds to the inbound text with an outbound text received back in under 10 seconds.

There is also another add on that has been around for a long time called Send to QuickBase.
