File Attachments In Connected Tables

Should be a simple fix that I cannot figure out for some reason... I have a connected table across two apps that mirror each other for much of their fields.  Everything transfers over BUT file atta...

Thanks Mark, that makes sense.  I'd just need to make sure the user has access to that table/record/field in the source table, I guess.

Sorry, I forgot something important. Go to the field properties of the file attachment field in the source table and click the setting to allow view access by everyone on the Internet without signing in. That way you don't have to worry about permissions.

    Thank you Mark.  I don't think I want to open the aperture that wide, as some of the data could be sensitive, but glad to have a solution that works.

      Yes, of course.  So I was thinking of a different use case where you may want to have a table of say logos and icons that are used across your suite of apps so it's a good idea to have a central repository of those images which of course are not confidential.  In that case you would open up view access ot the logo file attachment.
