Fix Legend Colour for Pie Chart
I have a number of pie charts that displays the current status of our records, each chart shows a different subset of the records.
There are 6 potential statuses, but not all of them are in use all of the time, and it can be quite fluid as to which ones are in use in the various subsets.
I have set colours on the legend for these charts, but as some statuses appear and disappear from the charts these colours lose their settings, or the ordering changes because a status at the top of the list is not in use and the colours all change.
Is there any way to fix the legend colours by a field name, rather than just an order?
As an example, the report might contain records with the following status and legend colours:
1. "Failed" in red
2. "Passed" in green
3. "Pending" in blue
If at some point we have no failed records, this changes to:
1. "Passed" in red
2. "Pending" in green
We then have a new failed record appear and this changes to:
1. "Failed" in red
2. "Passed" in green
3. "Pending" in maroon red or other random colour
