Form Rules

I have multiple fields in a form that reference another field in a different table.

I want to eliminate a selection after it has been selected in a previous field.

Example:

Field 1 : Apple.    Count:5

Field 2 : Orange. Count: 10

Field 3 :                  Count:

So field 3 i don't want Apple or Orange to be a selection option.

Can i do this with form rules?

  • Yes, you can use three form rules.

When field 2 is equal to the value in the field 1, change field 2 to blank.

When field 3 equals the value in field  1 change field 3 to blank.

When field 3 equals the value in field 2 change field 3 to blank.

set the rule to fire all the time.
