Qrew LegendI think if you want to select a record from a parent table you may as well have a relationship to that parent table. you cannot have a record picker be the results of a formula query.

Answer is No.
You might try setting up a multiple choice field and select the option in the configuration to select values from another field.
But I really don't understand what you have against relationships.
