Formula field that extracts the domain name from an email address

I'm trying to create a formula field that extracts the domain name from an email address. For example, for [email protected] I would want to see domainname.com. For [email protected]...

Left([my email field], "@")
You may need to do this.

Left(ToText([my email field]), "@")
