Formula Fields no longer showing errors??!

Question

My formula fields no longer show errors. I can type in a wrong field name with no issues, or make the syntax wrong. It wont tell me until I try to save. Are others having this same issue?

Yes.... OMG.... i did create a NumericFormula field with "a" , dont show error, allow save and&nbsp; report says&nbsp; 0

Hi Mike and Marcelo,That is an issue our tech support team has flagged and they are working with our Product team right now on a solution. For now you can save formulas if the type of data they output doesn't match the field type but it should still block formulas with incorrect syntax. We recommend for those building formulas that they make sure to check their formulas after save to make sure they are seeing the results they would expect. If you would like to be kept up to date on when this is resolved if you put in a case with the tech support team they will update when it is resolved and add you to our open escalation.------------------------------Evan Martinez------------------------------

In case anyone needs it, the issue ID for this is: QBE017528

I believe if you give that to customer support they can tie your account to it and it will let you know when it is fixed.
