It is my favorite day of the year - National Pi Day.

Everybody is getting in on the fun including Google and QuickBase.

Here's What to Know About the Mathematical Holiday

To celebrate here is my QuickBase formula for ? from the 15th century (Nilakantha):
3 +
4 * (
  1 / ( 2 *  3 *  4) -
  1 / ( 4 *  5 *  6) +
  1 / ( 6 *  7 *  8) -
  1 / ( 8 *  9 * 10) +
  1 / (10 * 11 * 12) -
  1 / (12 * 13 * 14) +
  1 / (14 * 15 * 16) -
  1 / (16 * 17 * 18) +
  1 / (18 * 19 * 20) -
  1 / (20 * 21 * 22) +
  1 / (22 * 23 * 24) -
  1 / (24 * 25 * 26)
)
Which evaluates to : 3.1414796890043

Not too shabby and certainly beats memorizing all those digits.
