Formula URL Button that goes to XML page

I have a formula URL button that is performing the intended action of updating the current record but it isn't returning the user to the current record. Instead, an XML page is showing with the result...

the problem is in the redirect 


var text rdr = URLRoot() & "db/xxxxxx?a=dr&rid=" & URLEncode ([Record ID#]);
