Since you cannot directly control that the best way is to have a report with mirror formula fields and of course formula fields will not be editable.
I would name then like.
[Expected Arrival Date.]
with a formula of [Expected Arrival Date]
no one will notice the . in the field name.

If I'm understanding correctly, I need to create one new field/column "Expected Arrival Date." as a formula-text and then put [Change Type] in the formula text box in the properties section.
Sorry, I'm new QuickBase user.
