QuickBase case support stated to clear browser cache. Did not work for me but perhaps others will have better luck. It certainly must have something to do with cache/stored data, because if I switch browsers it is fine. But I have not figured out which stored data I need to clear yet.

I guess the choice is to turn everything on at once, then manually turn everything off (Ive noticed it remembers your choice once you turn off). Or clear all your cache, passwords etc and start fresh and never use the toggle. Maybe a user voice to have a toggle all off button, though I suspect they want to phase out the old style.
