How to add a link to a record ID on a custom notification

I have a number of custom notifications setup to user when a new record is added or modified requiring their review or approval. Does any know, how I can add a link to that specific record i.e. "RecordID#"? &nbsp;

When you set up a Notification there is a drop down list of fields and below that there is a choice to include a link to the record.

I only see this as an option on a default notification, not a custom notification.  Am I missing something?

The special links are listed at the bottom of the list of fields
