How to indent a formula text field

Hi,

I want to be able to use the SearchAndReplace function to change { characters into ideally a new line and an indent. I know "\n" changes it to newline but not sure about indents.

  • Tab is typically "\t" but I have not tested that in a Formula Text field before.  It may not work, in which case there are always spaces.

"\t" isn't accepted by QuickBase unfortunately. I don't know of a good way to put a tab character inside a formula field but you can use spaces after "\n" to mimic an indent. Four or Five usually looks fine.

      #SearchAndReplace([Description],"-","\n     ")
