I am looking to have: once the user fills out the user form, to instead of saving the info it send to a modal window already highlighted

If you want to do this natively, you would have to save the record, prior to it being loaded in smaller window/modal.

Can you explain the workflow a little more, and the desire for this?  (there might be an alternative)
