I am trying to create a formula in which adds as well as subtracts.

I am trying to create a numeric formula that gets a product of particular fields, some fields are added and some fields are subtracted. For example, here is the formula belwo:

[Net Profit]+[PAC]+[Commission Holdback]-[Sales Commission Amount]-[Supplemental Commission Amount]-[Split Profit Amount]-[Desk Manager Split Amount]


I believe that I am formatting it incorrectly because the answer that I'm getting in incorrect. Please help me figure out what needs to be changed!

    Ginna, can you choose a record that you feel is incorrect and tell us what value is in each of those 7 fields.  My guess is that you are mixing up your "signs", for example maybe you are subtracting a [commission holdback], but perhaps what was in that field was already a negative. 

    Please give an example with the actual values in those 7 fields.
