I would like to set up an automation that happens once a year

I would like to set up an automation that  happens once a year. There is no trigger other than the change of date. Currently the only options available in the automation window is daily, weekly or monthly. I tried a workaround but automatons will not recognize formula fields as triggers. 

Any help?
