Thank you very much for your feedback and enhancement suggestions for our data import and the field mapping. Currently there isn't a function to set a catalog of your previous data imports and track the time, file name, and field mapping employed. Each time that data is imported Quick Base attempts to map your existing fields to the fields in the CSV by trying to find similar matches but does often require double checking and input for fields it cannot match. One small tweak that can help is to make the field names in the CSV and the field names in Quick Base match as much as possible to help sync up the fields when starting an import.
I have added your feedback into our internal tracking as an enhancement and feedback on importing but I also suggest posting your feedback on our User Voice page. It is our user feedback platform which can most easily be accessed from the My Apps page in Quick Base by clicking on the orange Feedback tab or at
http://quickbase.uservoice.com if you have used User Voice before. Out developers use it to help track product feedback and get an idea of the number of users who are excited about a request. A number of the forums users have posted User Voice requests and often it is helpful to put a link to your user voice request here in your Community post to help guide interested Community members to it so they can also put in a vote for the change.
