Linking Multiple Products in A Kit

We sell a product that requires 5-7 components to be a complete system. These can either be purchased as a complete system, or if the customer already has some of the accessories it could be purchased with as few as 1-2 components; however, to make sure we have complete sets we typically will pair up a complete set. 

Is there a way to link or group multiple products within one table?

Each component also has its own individual costs and retail prices. Is it possible to display 1 linked product with the sum total of all costs and sell prices to give a kit price and cost?
