Lookup employee number from name
not sure if this is a formula or a relationship but I'm looking to pick an employee's name and have the employee number of that person auto-populate.

- If you are storing the employee name and number in another table it is a relationship but if you are wanting QB to create the employee number it is a formula.
- As per the above, you will need to have a table of employees and then have a relationship where 1 EE has many detail records. Then pull in the EE fields to the detail records on a lookup formula.
