This is kind of working. When I look at the parent table I see the children but the lookup fields from the parent table are now showing data on the Child table. What have i done wrong?
If you already had the relationship set up with the Record ID as the key field, and then switched to a text field as the key field, AND you are using a cross app relationship, you can run into some small issues. I did this years back, and I can't remember all of the small things, but I think I either had to re-create the lookup fields, or maybe it was that I needed to re-select the parents. If I have time I will try to recreate this and remember.
However, the fact that you can see the children indicates the relationship is in tact. Maybe try recreating one of the lookup fields to see if that does anything.
