Making a section of a form read only

Hi - I have a form with multiple sections.  I would like to make one of the sections read-only if a condition is met.  Other than make every field read-only (which I'm trying to avoid b/c there are 100 fields in this section) is there a way to make the section read-only?

    The only think I can think of is mark all the fields as read only on the Main Form and then have a button to edit on an alternate form with the fields for just that section.
