Qrew LegendI'm pretty sure that's the normal behaviour for mobile mode. The only thing I can suggest is to put your own button on the parent record to add a child. But it does break up the workflow for the user.

Thanks Mark, that was kind of what I was thinking, and see no other way around this. Native mobile is not exactly user-friendly.
