3 years agoIt's "known" behavior that when you go into edit mode off a report, that in on Save, come hell or high water, you WILL be returned to that report, and it might even position you to the same scrolling down location where you were in the report.
If users want to land somewhere different after saving they will need to first view the record, (thus sort of canceling out the knowledge that you came from a report) and then push a URL formula button there.

Interesting. Yeah it seems if you use any for of add record or new record, I think you can use NextURL.
What is really confusing to me is how the URL is actually correct, and even works if copy/pasted to a new tab. The notion that the same exact URL can work in one tab but not another is blowing my mind. What secret hidden code is happening?!
Thanks for the confirmation though.
I use the URL button to return places a lot, because on mobile you have zero options to redirect people (well, NextURL people...) so everything has to be done after landing on a form. I really hope their mobile enhancements include some sort of redirect option.
