Not allowing child records saved under a parent record have the same date

Hello,  I'm needing help to solution a rule/way to make sure that 2 records related to the parent record can't be saved with the same date in a date field.  Thanks,  LB --------------------...

You can create a text field with a long explanatory name like [same Parent cannot have multiple children with same dates]

Then make a formula like

List("-", ToText([Related Parent]), ToText([My Date Field]) and then mark it Unique.

When the record fails to save due to duplicate date the long field name will be exposed to the user to help them understand what the problem is.
