Quick Base is currently offering an EA on offline mobile data-entry. Up to 10 apps can be used in an offline mode for data-entry. Like Mark said you won't access the whole app offline, so viewing records or editing existing records is not available. Neither is reference field data. If it's just a simple data-entry form with no reference data it will be a great match for your needs. I don't know when they plan for GA. You should reach out to your customer success manager before going to any other solution; find out what your options/a timeline is.

------------------------------- We seem to be in the same boat - I have field collectors go out to collect pole information using a quickbase app, and we need to have offline capabilities as well and currently they use an excel spreadsheet on an ipad and upload it into an attachment field on the form when they get better connection. Originally, offline was set to release at the end of the year, but they then told me that they would have something for us to use by the end of the first quarter of 2020. Since they have early access already for it, it shouldn't be too far away

------------------------------- Yes, offline is huge. I just hope they can also get some more folks working on bug fixes also for the map reports in mobile mode. Regarding your use of an excel file, is the data collected loaded into a single file as an attachment or is each cell loaded into the appropriate field and record in quickbase? if loaded into fields, what process did you use?
That would be a workaround, user downloads to Excel the data they need to conduct the field survey and enter their survey into the spreadsheet. I guess they could then import their data collection Excel file each day but I have a concern that they would import data by accident into the wrong field names. Let me know your ideas and workaround details. Thanks.
