Potential Service Providers Based on Location of Project
Hello,
I am new to quickbase but have gotten by for the most part without needing to ask my own questions thanks to the help of this community.
Right now I am in a rut and can't figure out the solution to my current issue.
Summary of what I am trying to accomplish:
Display all "Company Names" in "Potential Service Providers" Field for "Project Table". If the States field from "Projects Table" matches the "Summary of States" field in Service Providers Table.
I have a "Service Providers Table" with the following fields:
1. Company Name
2. 50 States (lists city for each state they can provide service) (haven't figure out a better way to do this)
3. Summary of States
3. Capabilities.
I need to link the the "Projects Table" which has the following Fields
1. Project Name
2. Description
3. Address
4. City
5. State
I've created a link report field called "Potential Service Providers" and matched "Projects Table" States to "Service Providers Table" Summary of States and it pulls in all the service providers who can perform work in that state. This is great for internal users since they can click each project record and see what service providers are in that state.
However, for the Client, I need it to show the Company Names or even the # of service providers on the table field similar to the combined text feature when you have a table to table relationship.
