I have the following tables set up: Customers, Contacts, Locations & Projects.
In "Projects", I have cascading drop downs set up to choose related Customer, related Contact & related Location.

I think perhaps you're thinking of what a proxy field is, is backwards. :)
The proxy fields are the fields that should be put on the form and on your reports. Not the various [Related XYZ fields] which are the meaningless (to users) numbers.

------------------------------So....then there's no way to make it display properly? How is anyone supposed to know what customer #2 is? I want it to actually show the customer name, not the #2.
