Pull data from multiple child records into one parent record

Do you have an example you can think of? I think I understand what you are asking, but it's hard to follow.

I would like to list multiple Supplier Contacts on the Supplier record

Parent/child relationships do this automatically with embedded reports

(ideally based on some conditional criteria related to Supplier Contact fields)

Need specifics or example, I'm not sure what you mean on this part.
