Are you asking how to pull data from a child record up to the parent? If the Parent has 20 children, which child record's data needs to be pulled up?

Mark,
I want to take this "1" and be able to display it on a form separate from all of the other information in this table.
Because if I move the entire table over to a printable document I have to box it in like the number" 2" below. Where the rest of my document has blanks running along the left hand column. I want to single out the table into multiple pieces of information so I can place them where I want, rather than only being able to control the table as a whole.
Thank you,
Mike Klausing

I think that in your case you may want to get into reverse relationships. That is a technique which allows you to look up data from child records up ti the parent.
To set up a reverse relationship you make a summary field of the Minimum of the Record ID#, possibly subject to a filer on some field. For example, perhaps you know that the child lines have a hook like a certain value in a description field. So maybe the field would be called Record ID# of 1st
The you make a new relationship where 1 child has many Parent. yes backwards, hence the name for the technique. On the right side of the relationship you select that Minimum Record ID# field. That will allow you to "lookup" any fields from a particular child to the Parent record.
I know that this is just a partial response as I don't understand the nature of the data in the child table.
Then you can also make a summary field of the 2nd minimum record ID# by looking up the 1st minimum record ID# down to the child table and then making a new Minimum record ID# field subject to the filter that the Record ID# is greater than the 1st Minimum Record ID#.
So, while this can be done, if you have a lot of children, or an unknown number of children this technique starts to get out of control.
