QB Automations -is it now QB Actions?

Actions still exists, but nobody talks about them or uses them much anymore. Automations has been replaced by Pipelines.  Pipelines are a little more complicated to set up but they can easily do everything that automations did plus a whole lot more.

It can be a bit of a learning curve to get your first Pipeline built but it's definitely a skill you need to know. Quickbase is putting a huge amount of effort into Pipelines and are kind of betting the future on it so it's where you want to be.
