Quickbase Actions - Checkbox fields

I'm sure the answer is stupid simple, but when using quickbase actions to create a new record, how can you have the action set the value of a checkbox field in the new record to true or false (checked or not)?

I've tried 'write the value' with 'true', 'yes', '1', etc to no avail.  

Simple enough to do with a webhook . . .   

Am i missing something obvious?

    I don't know the answer (but now would also like to know), but a possible work around is to create a formula checkbox field called with a formula of 

    true

    and then use that in the Action.

    But now I have Action Creator's Remorse for not using JavaScript.

    That's my current workaround - great minds work alike and all that. . .
