    Two choices.

    1. Delete the fields and make them again from scratch.
    2. Change the field type to formula text and then back again to multiple choice.  When you change them to formula text the data will be lost as the formula is blank.  But when you change them back to multiple choice they will remember the choices available to select.

Did you create the new field(s) by copying an existing field.  When you copy an existing field it actually also copies the data contents of the original field.

Yes, I did do that! Is there a way to have it not recognize the previous field data?
