Steve, If it seems to you like the check box change is NOT triggering the automation like you expect it to, I can attest that this doesn't work for me either. I've had a couple of cases like this, and had to resort to a work around. Instead of checkbox, I used a Text Field with a two-choice list: Y or N. Changing the state of that Text Field using the pick list triggered the automation I wanted.
