4 years agoIf you don't want it to save - which is the whole point of this button, then you need to do this with simple form rules instead. You make a checkbox to trigger a form rule to do those changes, and then the last step of the form rule actions is to uncheck the checkbox.

Regarding your last suggestion about accomplishing this via a DFR: I have a similar challenge, but one of the edits I want to make is to increment a numeric field by 1. I don't think a form rule can help me to do this. Am I overlooking something?

Yrs, a dynamic form rule can do this. You might need to create a helper feel that's equal to your numeric field plus one and then, when the form rule fires, it would change your numeric field to the value in the helper field.
