Re: External File Storage

I suggest contacting Juiced.  They have add ons for uploading files where the file is actually stored on a 3rd party locations such as dropbox or Amazon S3 servers.

I know a lot of people use Juiced, but i can't believe there's not a way I can do this myself without paying them $500 a year. That may not seem like a lot to larger companies, but I have to account for every dollar I spend and a simple file storage for $500 is way more than I spend on dropbox or any other file storage options.

There are new file handling capabilities which have recently been announced for Pipelines.  I also believe they have weekly "OfficeHours" specifically for Pipelines where you can ask some Quick Base expects for assistance.

Yeah I watched a pipelines demo where they used Box.com. it wasn't exactly what I was looking for, as the file storage still happened through box, but it just created a link back to the QBase record. So the user will still be uploading to a third party service. Seemed a little clunky compared to what I was hoping for. Can I just buy more storage through quickbase? and if so, is that a good idea?
