Reassign child records to a new parent

Question

I have 2 tables, Employees and Related Managers.
I have had some employees move to a new manager - How do I delete the old Employee - Manager relationship and assign a new manager to the existing employee record?

There is a related field on the child table. Enter the record Id of the new manager into this field and the new manager will appear in the child table.&nbsp;
