Record Picker Filtering

Good afternoon!

 

I can't seem to figure out a way to filter the record picker based off either a Report or a field not including something. 

 

For reference, I want to hide a contact from the record picker that is retired, but I don't want to out right delete their information as they are used in records over the years. I'm using a Table to Table relationship between two apps to connect these.

    just make yourself a perfect part of the drop-down list, and it's probably saying a list of employees in alphabetical order probably with just one field and filter where is the employee is active.

    Then go to the firm properties for that drop-down field and instead of letting it use the record picker tell it to use the report that you made. I typically call it something like "drop down list of active employees"
