Don't follow the practice of backslash escaping double quotes shown in the help page:

"<div style=\"background-color:pink;\">"& [Priority] & "</div>"

Instead save your eyes and use single quotes:

"<div style='background-color:pink;'>"& [Priority] & "</div>"
