Qrew LegendOn the Parent Record Table's Advanced Properties, you should set the checkbox to save Parent Automatically when adding a child and that will eliminate that silly question "do you want to save". New Quick Base tables created recently now default that checkbox to checked.
But as for your workflow, because you say that you want to continue editing the Parent after you save the child, I doubt that here is a way to get the Workflow to return to the Dashboard. I can't say hat definitively, but I'm about 95% sure so I don't want to invest the time to test.
