relationship multi select / search issue

Question

Here's the rub....Tables: Company, Contact, BidWhen I create a new bid, I'd like to be able to search/add multiple companies that we are bidding to and bring in their info. Right now my relationship just gives me a giant list of companies which I can pick one.
Any thoughts?

If one company may have Many Bids and One Bid may have Many Companies, then you will need to have a "Many to Many" relationship setup.

To do that you need an additional middle table called perhaps Company Bids

So the relationship diagram would look like

Company < Company Bids > Bids
