Can you share more details about the tables you have and their relationships?
Sure thing. To be honest there's a lot going on in this app, but the main relationships I'm looking for from a cascading record copy standpoint are ([one] -< [many])

Estimate -< Labor Tasks
Estimate -< Subcontractor
Estimate -< Job Equipment Table
Estimate -< Misc Costs
Labor Tasks -< Job Parts List
Labor Tasks -< Job Materials Sheet Metal
Labor Tasks -< TI Piping Job Table
Labor Tasks -< Job Controls Materials
Labor Tasks -<Manual Parts Table
Qrew LegendThe Copy Parent Child is super powerful and easy, verses setting up a very complex Pipeline. But you must absolutely respect its limitations in terms of "looping" relationships which break it. The Recursive setting (copying grandchildren all the way down the lineage) is all or nothing.
i presume that you are copying a Proposal.
You do get to select which child relationships you want to copy, below your Proposal.
You must have some additional relationships involved in these tables and one of those is "breaking" the button.
Can you tell us more relationships which involve these tables so we can help you find the culprit(s).
This whole application was set up before my time and it is a bit messy... the proposal table itself has 22 table-table relationships:
The estimate table (the most important child table) has ten relationships:
The labor tasks table (the most important child table of Estimates) has 8 relationships:
Obviously, there's more going on since there's just so much stuff in the app.
