Reports on Mobile Devices

My organization is very reliant on mobile devices. When reports are shared via QB and opened on mobile devices; the embedded report within the email is not easily readable. Is it possible to somehow format reports differently in the embedded emails so that they can be easily read on mobile devices?
  • Hi Marc,

I just wanted to confirm that the issue is when you email out a record to a user and they view an embedded report on that record the embedded report is difficult to read? What seems to cause the most issue the volume of records, the size of the report with all the fields, or just the general appearance of the report? If it is an overload of information that might not all be relevant it is possible to make a version of the form that uses a report with less fields for emailing out to narrow down the number of fields and simplify their view. The same can be done with more filtering or grouping on the report to help control an overload of records.
  • To get the most information as possible in a small area on mobile devices, I concatenate the 3 or 4 most important fields together so that they display without having to browse or edit the record.  Take a look at the attached screen shots.  Screen shot 2 is where I concatenated the First & Last Name, Cell # and Title in a formula text field.  You'll see more information displayed as compared to screen shot # 1.

Mobile Screen Shot # 1 - Limited info. displays

    Mobile screen shot # 2 - More info displays than # 1:
