Reports on User-List field

is there a way to run a report that could show how many times a user is selected in a User-List field ?  I have a User-list field that I use for meeting attendees and I want a report of how many meetings a user attended.  Each meeting is a seperate record.

    just make a table  report with a filter where that userlist field includes <ask the user>

    you type in <ask the user>

    then run the report and answer the question with the user's email address.
