Rich text formula field does not show under rich text field options menu

Question

Has anyone else experienced this as well? I haven't found any posts mentioning this, so I figured I'd ask here. I created two rich text fields, in hopes that I could add some HTML/CSS to each field, but there is no field available to add code to. The first pic is an image of the magic buttons db that has a rich text field with the formula field. The second is an image of my db with a rich text field where there is formula field. Am I missing some type of setting where I can make this field available?

You field appears to be a Rich Text (ie data entry) field type.
It looks like you want to change the type to a Formula Rich Text field.

But be sure that is what you want, as when you do that if there is manual data entry in that field you will loose it when you change it to be a formula field type.

That sounds like a good option as well.&nbsp;With that said, since the data entry part is on a form, would it make sense to create a second field (Formula - rich text) that takes the original text field, displays it in table view where it still allows me to add markup to field 2? For instance, field 1 shows on the form as a text multi-line field where users can enter data. Field 2 has a formula field that takes field 1's data, adds markup and some JavaScript and displays all records in table view, but only field 2 shows on the table with the formula rendered data?------------------------------Angel Rodriguez------------------------------

Maybe you want to have a formula field which takes your data entry field and adds some hover text to it. So you would use the formula w/ hover field in view mode and on reports and then the data entry field in edit mode and grid edit.
