Run an pipeline to capture lat and longitude from an address?

Starting a new thread to try to solve an ongoing issue. Looking to capture latitude and longitude of a mobile user. There is functionality that uses a code page that works for desktop, but code pages I was told do not work on the mobile app.

The new idea was to use the mobile address feature to capture a current address. Then use a pipeline to change that address into a latitude and longitude. However, I have no idea what that pipeline would look like. Some api call to an external mapping program?? Anyone know how this can be done?
