5 years agoEdward, can you expand on your use case. Are you trying to search on just he numeric part of he phone # ? for example the # is (800) 555-1212 and you are trying to search on 5551212 and not getting hits?

I try searching both (800) 555-1212 and 8005551212 and neither produces a result.

phone numbers do not default to being searchable. Look for this setting in field properties

------------------------------- MichaelTamoush5 years agoQrew CaptainI had the same trouble, however I didn't realize phone numbers were not defaulted to searchable. When I changed that, I can confirm that I am able to search. However, I do have to search the numbers only (meaning, adding a parentheses or hyphens yield no results).
It is curious that you still cannot search....
